- Official sources only. Every legal fact links to a government, legislature, court or consulate page. We don't rely on forums, law firm blogs or news reports for rules.
- Nothing invented. If an official figure (for example a processing time) isn't published, we say so rather than estimate.
- Dated. Pages show when they were last checked against their sources.
- Not legal advice. We describe rules; we don't tell anyone whether they qualify.
- Independent. No government affiliation; no paid placements, sponsored content or attorney referrals.
- Corrections. Reports go through the corrections form; confirmed fixes are listed in the change log.
